In order to display the level of service defined with the customer to the virtual infrastructure, identifies five areas for action within the own Virtual Infrastructure Management:

1 .- HYPERVISOR MANAGEMENT:

The managed service ErmesTel in level Hypervisor includes:

  • The management of the full set of VMware ESX
  • Configuration backup Hypervisor
  • Analysis and optimization settings
  • Management of security measures, including the protection system of the platform.
  • Setting access authorizations (including file systems and remote access)
  • Support 24 x 7
  • Recommendation on the acquisition of new versions / updates of software

2.- HARDWARE MANAGEMENT:

The managed service ErmesTel in level hardware involved in virtual infrastructure includes:

  • Fully managed hardware (servers, storage and communication SAN / LAN)
    • Monitoring Host: physically and monitoring virtual infrastructure that supports it
    • Optimization storage implicated
  • Notice to expand of hardware resources need beyond the initial design specification

3.- OS MANAGEMENT:

  • Monitoring of the components included in the OS.
  • OS Management
  • Patch Management

4.- BACKUP MANAGEMENT:


eVIM Service includes in package basic standard management of software Data Recovery (only related to the virtual infrastructure).

Other backup software will be contemplated as another service managed differently.

5.- OTHER OPTIONAL SERVICES:

In order to accommodate the specifications of the infrastructure and the applications of each customer and to meet specific needs, eVIM Service may include the management of other areas, all of them requested ad hoc by the customer:
